【摘要】:Thisdocumentoutlinesthetestmethodsandproceduresforcarryingoutexternallyloadedteststoassesssusceptibilitytohotcracking.Thefollowingtestsaredescribed:—Hottensiletests—VarestraintandTransvarestrainttest—Flattensiletest.Theabovetestscanprovideinformationaboutthehotcrackingsensitivityofparentmaterials,weldmetalsandweldments.Assessmentisbaseduponthemeasurementofthe"brittletemperaturerange"(BTR)wherehotcracksoccur.Thisdocumentappliesprimarilytoausteniticstainlesssteels,nickel,nickelbaseandnickelcopperalloys,weldmentsandweldingconsumables.However,theprinciplescanbeextendedtoothermaterialssuchasaluminiumalloysandhighstrengthsteelsbyagreementbetweencontractingparties.
