【摘要】:Thecomponentdistributionofhydrocarbonliquidmixturesisoftenrequiredasaspecificationanalysisforthesematerials.Wideuseofthesehydrocarbonmixturesaschemicalfeedstocksorasfuelrequireprecisecompositionaldatatoensureuniformqualityofthereactionproduct.Inaddition,custodytransferoftheseproductsisoftenmadeonthebasisofcomponentanalysesofliquidmixtures.Thecomponentdistributiondataofhydrocarbonmixturescanbeusedtocalculatephysicalproperties,suchasspecificgravity,vaporpressure,molecularweight,andotherimportantproperties.Precisionandaccuracyofcompositionaldataareextremelyimportantwhenthesedataareusedtocalculatephysicalpropertiesoftheseproducts.Note38212;Specificationsforsomehydrocarbonliquidmixtures,suchasLPG,maybebasedoncompositionmeasuredbyTestMethod.NitrogenandcarbondioxidedeterminationsarenotwithinthescopeofTestMethod.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheanalysisofdemethanizedliquidhydrocarbonstreamscontainingnitrogen/airandcarbondioxide,andpurityproducts,suchasanethane/propanemixthatfallwithinthecompositionalrangeslistedinTable1.Thistestmethodislimitedtomixturescontaininglessthan5mol%ofheptanesandheavierfractions.1.2Theheptanesandheavierfractions,whenpresentinthesample,areanalyzedbyeither(1)reverseflowofcarriergasaftern-hexaneandpeakgroupingor(2)precutcolumntoeluteheptanesandheavierfirstasasinglepeak.Forpuritymixeswithoutheptanesandheavier,noreverseofcarrierflowisrequired.(CautionInthecaseofsampleswitharelativelylargeC6+orC7+fractionandwherepreciseresultsareimportant,itisdesirabletodeterminethemolecularweight(orotherpertinentphysicalproperties)ofthesefractions.Sincethistestmethodmakesnoprovisionfordeterminingphysicalproperties,thephysicalpropertiesneededcanbedeterminedbyanextendedanalysisoragreedtobythecontractingparties.)1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Note18212;AnnexA2statesvaluesinmanometricunits,whicharetoberegardedasthestandardinthatsection.ApproximateSIunits(fromconversion)aregiveninparentheses.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
