【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingthein-planeshearmodulus(G12)offibre-reinforcedplasticcompositesusingastandardplatespecimen.Whenappliedtoisotropicmaterials,theshearmodulusmeasuredisindependentofdirection.Themethodisusedtodeterminetheshearmodulusofthetestspecimensbutnottodeterminetheshearstrength.Itappliestoaplatesupportedontwopointsononediagonalandloadedontheotherdiagonalbythesimultaneousmovementoftwoloadingpointsattachedtoacross-beam.Themethodissuitableforusewithfibre-reinforcedplasticcompositeswithboththermosetandthermoplasticmatrices.Duetothesheardeformationbeingappliedunderflexuralconditions,forlaminatedmaterialswithdifferentfibreformatsand/ordifferentorientations,thelayersofmaterialmustbewelldistributedacrossthesectionsothatitisapproximately"homogeneous"inthethrough-thicknessdirection.Theprincipalmaterialaxes,ifpresent,mustbeorientatednormaltotheplateedges(see3.8).NOTEThismethodcanbeappliedtounreinforcedpolymersandothermaterials(e.g.metals,ceramicsandmetal-orceramic-matrixcomposites).Formaterialfabricatedusingunidirectionalplies,theshearmodulusobtainedusingamultidirectionalspecimen(i.e.0°/90°/±45°)isnotthesameasthatobtainedforunidirectionalorcross-ply(0°/90°)material.Themethodisperformedusingspecimenswhichmaybemouldedtothechosendimensions,machinedfromtestplatesormachinedfromflatareasofproducts.Themethodspecifiespreferreddimensionsforthespecimen.Testswhicharecarriedoutonspecimensofotherdimensions,oronspecimenswhicharepreparedunderdifferentconditions,mayproduceresultswhicharenotcomparable.Otherfactors,suchasthespeedoftestingandtheconditioningofthespecimens,caninfluencetheresults.Consequently,whencomparativedataarerequired,thesefactorsmustbecarefullycontrolledandrecorded.NOTEThestress-strainresponseinshearisverynon-linearathigherstrainlevels.Thistestmethoddeterminesthemoduluswithinalowstrainregionandisnotapplicabletohigherstrains.
